GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Gator football team’s game against Georgia in Jacksonville on Nov. 1 will be televised on CBS, the Southeastern Conference announced on Tuesday. Coverage of the game is scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m. ET from Jacksonville Municipal Stadium.
Florida will be making its third appearance of the 2008 season on CBS, while the Gators hold a 51-23 (.689) all-time mark on the network. UF has posted victories over Tennessee (30-6) and No. 4 LSU (51-21) on the channel this year.
Meyer Announces Champions Club Members
Head Coach Urban Meyer announced the Gator football team’s Champions Club members on Tuesday following UF’s 51-21 victory over previously undefeated LSU. Entering their second bye week, the Gators are 5-1 overall and 3-1 in the Southeastern Conference and are ranked fifth in the Associated Press poll.
