A critical look at 2007

Fan expectations are sky high going into this season. This is due to the great run the Gators have been on churning out three national championships in a row in basketball and football.

Last year Florida started 10 seniors and ten juniors, three juniors Reggie Nelson, Jarvis Moss and Ryan Smith left early to the NFL.  Only two sophomores started Jim Tartt and Derrick Harvey.  No freshmen made the first team although freshman played a big role on last years team.

What happens when you lose a lot of experience after a big season?

A collective reaction from confident fans still riding yesteryear’s blaze of glory might be, ‘Experience, we don’t needs no stinking Experience!’
