Zuniga makes No. 10 for the Florida Gators

The dominoes are finally starting to fall for the Florida Gators as they  have picked up its second commitment of the day as defensive end Jabari Zuniga (6-3, 265, Marietta, GA Sprayberry) flipped from North Carolina State to Florida on Monday.

Zuniga is the second commit of the day as he joins 2016 receiver Rick Wells who also committed to Florida today.

Zuniga, who is one of the most underrated prospects in America, visited Florida two weekends ago and was impressed by Ben Hill Griffin stadium as he saw a dream coming true.

“My favorite part of the whole visit was getting to walk out of the tunnel,” Zuniga said. “As we were walking out of it, it just hit me that I was in the Swamp. I just looked around and took it all in. It was a good feeling to have. I also liked trying on the Florida jersey.”

The Gators were able to impress Zuniga during his visit when he met with defensive line coach Terrell Williams. Williams sees Zuniga an edge rusher immediately, and someone that could potentially grow into a defensive tackle.

Zuniga is the 1oth commit of the class of 2015 for Florida and joins defensive tackle Andrew Ivie as commits from the defensive line.

Jim McElwain was in-home on Monday night with Zuniga and his parents and that pushed the decision even more to Florida as the Gators head coach is someone Zuniga and his mother have a good relationship with.

GatorCountry.com will have much more on Zuniga’s commitment to Florida plus some analysis of Zuniga from one of his assistant coaches at Sprayberry High School.
