For the first time since March, 2014 cornerback Quincy Wilson is visiting the University of Florida, this time for Friday Night Lights.

Many believe that Wilson’s desire to play with 2014 wide receiver Ermon Lane in college is something that points both South Florida prospects towards Gainesville. Lane has expressed interest in both Florida and Alabama, but Wilson does not have an offer from the Crimson Tide. The desire to play with his friend is not something Wilson hides.

“Me and Ermon I know are going to the same school,” Wilson said. He also expressed interest in joining forces with 2014 cornerback Chris Lammons to play college football.

“Chris wants to be with us, we want Chris, we all three want to stay together, but we’ll see what happens with that,” Wilson said.

Wilson arrived in Gainesville fresh from unofficial visits to two of Florida’s SEC East rivals.

“I just came from Tennessee and South Carolina. It was nice, Tennessee has nice facilities, the coaching staff takes care of you and they’re on the rise. South Carolina has a big need for CBs and I feel like I could go there right now and make an impact right away,” Wilson said.

He is yet to narrow down his list of schools, but plans on doing so after FNL when he will announce his top-5. Wilson plans to commit sometime in August on either ESPN or Twitter. He has an idea of where he wants to go, but is yet to inform the coaching staff of the school he plans to pick.
During the day, before the event, Wilson will meet with Florida defensive backs coach Travaris Robinson, watch film and also talk with some of the players already committed to Florida. He is unsure if he will workout at FNL, but brought cleats just in case.
