Can someone please put a video together of every receiver/TE running wide open down the field vs fsu and bama. It was absolutely ridiculous. The pass Harris threw right past Goolsby on that first down okay in the 3rd quarter was the worst of them all. He cant stand in the pocket, so they rolled him out. The DBs bit on the fake handoff to Taylor and Harris still can’t get the ball 20 yds down field to a WIDE OPEN Goolsby. I CAN MAKE THAT THROW.

I know it really doesn’t matter and isn’t worth arguing about, but I do wonder how far we would have gone if Will Grier didn’t get himself suspended. The opportunity to make plays was there in each of our last two games.

Please teach these guys proper English and sentence structure. Sends chills knowing many apply with all the tools and don’t get accepted but at the same time young men are playing ball with terrible skills.

Are you kidding me? It’s from Twitter. They only have 140 characters to say something. I you can’t have sentence structure on Twitter…..

Yes, it was hard to say “the gig is up when we play fsu and bama”. Look at what we had just done to ole miss, right after they beat bama.

And Grier was turning into a GREAT QB. He has better and more effective running skills than harris, he’s 10x more accurate, and can actually read the whole field. When plays were there to be made, he made them.. The only time I knew the gig was up was after Grier got himself suspended. So dissapointing.. I would love to know the whole story and what they actually found in his system.

And I bet the sec east will be much better next year.. In all reality it wasn’t terrible this year either. And I guaruntee UF destroys FSU next year… As I’ve said before, plays, actually BIG PLAYS,, we’re there to be made in both games, bama and fsu. most of them were pretty easy with receiver wide open,, behind the defense, and no one within 5 yds.. treon just couldn’t even make the easy plays.

I o ow Treon seemed to regress as the season neared it’s end but let’s not sit here and act like Grier was putting up Heisman numbers.

Outside of the 1st half of the Ole miss game Grier himself was just avg. We only scored 14 pts against UK, needed 14 4th qtr points including miracle 4 and 25 TD to keep our streak against Tenn alive. Outside of the 1st half of the Ole miss game where he threw 4 TD’S in the best showing of his career but came out in the 2nd half and couldn’t find the endzone. Only score was a 2nd half KT TD run. In the mizzou game Grier threw 2 td’s on his first 3 drives but was completely shut down for the remaining 3 1/2 qtrs. We needed Tabors pick six to completely put the game away. Again he was unable to score in the 2nd half of the game.

So against UK, Ole miss, and Mizzou Grier could not find the endzone after halftime except for the great catch and run, game winning TD by Callaway against Tenn.

To be clear Grier is a better QB then Harris, and his ceiling and potential is extremely high but since the poor performances by Treon many have put Grier on this pedestal of “would have been” Heisman contender. Our offense as a whole has some work to do including our Oline creating pass protection and opening holes in the run game.

I agree,, Grier was not setting the world on fire.. BUT he was making the easy plays when they were there and he was reading the defense very well for a frosh. He will only get better.

And as I said before, there WAS TONS of plays to be made in our last two games. The easy ones too, that usually go for TDs.. Treon just couldn’t complete them. Grier did.
