The Florida Gators basketball program has released its 2017-2018 non-conference schedule that features some exciting matchups. Something that catches the eye is the plethora of home games. After having to play non-conference home games at different venues last season due to renovations to the O’Connell Center, The Gators will get to enjoy playing in front of the Florida faithful.

Florida will open up the season at home against Big South opponent Gardner-Webb on

Nov 13th. The Gators then host North Florida on Nov 16th and New Hampshire on Nov 19th before heading to the PK80 invitational in Portland Oregon Nov 23th.

Florida will be matched up against Stanford in the opening game of the PK80 on Nov 23rd and then will play either Ohio State or Gonzaga on the 24th. Duke, Portland State, Butler, or Texas will be the Gators opponent on the 26th.

Florida will then return home to face Florida State Dec 4th and will look to avenge a 83-78 loss from last season. Loyola Chicago will come to Gainesville for a matchup Dec 6th.

On Dec 9th Florida will travel to Newark, NJ to play Cincinnati in the Never Forget Tribute game and will follow that up by playing Clemson in the Orange Bowl classic in Sunrise, FL.

The Gators will then return back to Gainesville to finish up the last 3 non-conference games at home against James Madison (Dec 20th), Incarnate Word(Dec 22nd), and Baylor on Jan 27th as part of the Big12/SEC challenge.
