Auburn enters the game having lost its last game at Ole Miss 90-84. The Tigers led the game by as many as 20 points before the Rebels rallied to take the lead in the second half.

Florida comes in without suffering a single loss over the last three-week span. The Gators are on a six-game winning streak, in which a different player has led the team in scoring in each game.

Last game, Justin Leon led the offense with 18 points against Texas A&M. John Egbunu posted a double-double off the bench, with 11 points and 10 rebounds. Canyon Barry set a school record of 39 consecutive free-throws made in his 12-point performance.

The Tigers are very young, starting four freshmen this season. The four freshmen are the team’s leading scorers. Mustapha Heron (15.3) leads Auburn, followed by Jared Harper (12.3), Danjel Purifoy (11.5) and Austin Wiley (9.4).

Heron is also the top rebounder, averaging 5.7 boards per game. Harper leads the way with 68 assists. Heron, Harper, Purifoy and Bryce Brown have all made at least 35 three-pointers for Auburn this season.

The Gators have won nine straight over the Tigers, despite a 77-87 all-time record in the series. Florida is 25-55 on the road against Auburn but has won eight consecutive games there. In the last meeting between the two teams, the Gators dominated in a 95-63 victory at home.

Florida looks to continue its current winning streak with a 10th straight win over the Tigers in Valentine’s Day matchup.
