Damontre Harris arrested after missing court

After dropping a heartbreaking three-point loss at Missouri last night, the Gators returned home to a piece of bad news.

Junior forward Damontre Harris, a transfer from South Carolina, was arrested early Wednesday morning on a failure to appear in court charge.

Harris received the charge after being cited for driving without a license earlier this year.

The 6-foot-10 Fayetville, N.C.-native suffered a torn labrum in October and has been recovering from the injury since.

Harris was released from the Alachua County Jail after posting bond on Wednesday.

The relatively minor charge should not be too big of a distraction for the Gators, who host Arkansas on Saturday.
