The Florida Gators baseball won its first national championship on Tuesday night after defeating the LSU Tigers in two straight games to clinch the series. Florida is now one of only four programs to win national championships in baseball, football and basketball.

Winning the baseball national title is something that Florida has been on the verge of doing since Kevin O’Sullivan arrived in Gainesville but it has escaped them year after year.

As you can imagine Gator fans were very excited on Tuesday night after the Gators clinched the title and that showed on social media.

GatorCountry brings you a look at what some very popular former Gators and Gator fans had to say on social media about the win.
