Senior Aubree Munro has heated up at the plate at just the right time for the Gators and she hit her first grand slam of the season on Saturday. Munro had four hits, five RBI’s and scored three runs to go with her home run.

Freshman Amanda Lorenz didn’t have eye-popping numbers last week but she had the biggest hit of the weekend when she hit a two-run walk-off home run to push the Gators past the Bulldogs on Sunday. Lorenz finished the week with four RBI’s, four hits and three runs scored.

Tim Walton and Florida Gators softball pitching coach Jennifer Rocha continue to hit the right buttons with the pitching staff this year.

Junior Delanie Gourley continued her dominating work this year as she tossed her second no-hitter of the year on Friday night against Mississippi State. Gourley pitched 13 innings of scoreless ball for the Gators last week. Gourley picked up two wins while striking out 14 hitters. Gourley also picked up two saves last week which gives her four on the season.

Sophomore Aleshia Ocasio also picked up two wins last week while pitching eight innings of three run ball. Ocasio struck out 11 hitters during her time in the circle.

Player of the week:
