The Florida Gators have landed a big time commitment from linebacker Jeremiah Moon (6-4, 210, Hoover, AL High) who gave his pledge to the Gators on Saturday after the annual Friday Night Lights football camp.
Moon is the 17th member of the class of 2016, joining linebacker Vosean Joseph in the position class.
The Gators are recruiting Moon to play the outside linebacker/rush end position and he earned his offer during the Jim McElwain football camp back in June.
Heading into his Florida visit, Moon had a top three of Florida, Mississippi State and South Carolina but choose the Gators due to early playing time.
Moon is from a premier powerhouse in Hoover High School and is a very coachable kid with a good attitude.
Defensive coordinator Geoff Collins played a big part in Moon’s commitment and helped sell Moon on early playing time at Florida.
GatorCountry.com will have much more on Moon’s commitment to Florida.
