Jackson committment to the Gators

Immokalee (Fla.) High cornerback JC Jackson has been flirting with the Florida Gators for months while being a Florida State commitment.

On Monday the 5-foot-10, 175-pound Jackson decommitted from the Noles and on Saturday he committed to the Florida Gators and coach Will Muschamp.

Jackson joins Duke Dawson as cornerbacks committed in the Class of 2014. Jackson gives the Gators their ninth member for the class of 2014.

On Monday Jackson talked with GatorCountry.com about why he liked Florida so much.

“Florida wants me to come in and play cornerback for them,” Jackson said. “They tell me that I have a chance to come in make an impact for them as a freshman if I work hard on the field and in the weight room for them.”
