Gammage joins the Florida Gators recruiting class

The Florida Gators recruiting class of 2018 picked up its fifth member of the class on Tuesday night when they received the second receiver of the class.

The fifth member of the class is receiver Corey Gammage (6-2, 188, Delray Beach, FL. Atlantic) who announced his commitment on Saturday afternoon

Gammage visited Gainesville on February 23rd where he got the chance to meet the new coaching staff including main recruiter JaJuan Seider.

While on campus for that visit Gammage explained why he liked Seider and what the message was from the Gators running backs coach.

“Coach Seider is a cool guy, he shows me the most attention,” Gammage said. “He was telling me that I can come in and start as a true freshman if I work hard and learn everything.”

Following that visit to Florida, Gammage announced that Florida and Miami were his co-leaders as both were schools he grew up liking.

Gammage is a guy that has seen his stock rise after his junior year by picking up offers from Auburn, Florida, Miami and several others.

Gammage is the second receiver of the class joining Jalynn Williams who was the first commit of the 2018 class.
