Florida Gators visitors list for June 8th weekend

The Florida Gators continue their summer camps this week and weekend, which means several prospects, will be on campus for that and others just to visit.

Dan Mullen and the coaching staff will also one official visitor this weekend and a 7-on-7 tournament on Friday where a few prospects will be in town for that.

Here’s a look at this weekend’s Florida Gators visitors list as the list is once again full of big targets for Mullen and company.

Official visitor

After hosting five official visitors last weekend, this weekend will be a little calmer as only defensive back Warren Burrell will be on campus on an official this weekend.

Burrell who would like to make a decision by the start of his senior year has already taken official visit to Tennessee and has one coming up to North Carolina State in two weeks. This will be Burrell’s third time on campus in Gainesville.

7-on-7 participants

On Friday the Gators will host the first of two 7-on-7 tournaments and three prospects of note will be participating in the tournament on Friday.

Defensive back Tyrique Stevenson and 2020 receiver Marcus Fleming will be on campus with their Southridge team for the tournament.

Stevenson is a former Gators commit who the Gators are trying to get back in the class but Georgia and Miami are both giving the Gators tough competition as of late. Stevenson visited Georgia instead of Florida’s barbecue so the Gators will look to get the momentum back on their side this weekend.

2020 athlete commit Keyvone Lee will be in town with his teammates to go through the 7-on-7 on Friday as well. Lee has been solid to Florida since committing in the spring.

Other visitors

Offensive lineman Warren McClendon who just recently announced a top five is slated to be on campus this weekend for an unofficial visit after visiting Auburn recently. McClendon visited the Gators this spring and has a good relationship with the coaching staff. McClendon has said he has no leaders but South Carolina and Georgia are the teams talked about the most.

2020 linebacker Tyler Berrong is also expected to be on campus on Saturday as the Gators continue to host the linebacker on campus. Florida State is another team recruiting Berrong hard early on in his recruitment.

2019 quarterback Brian Maurer (6-4, 185, Ocala, FL. West Port) who just recently was named to the Elite 11 is expected to camp with the Gators on Friday. Maurer doesn’t have an offer from the Gators at this time.

2020 receiver E. Jai Mason (6-2, 200, Jackson, MS. Jackson Academy) is planning on visiting Florida on Friday and then camping with the Gators on Saturday. Mason doesn’t currently have an offer from Florida yet.
