Saturday night Gainesville, Florida will be the place to be for prospects as dozens of recruits plan to attend the Florida Gators’ game against LSU.
It will be a who’s who of the Gators’ top targets for the Class of 2015 and 2016 on Saturday as the Gators coaches have circled this game as the biggest weekend for recruiting of the 2014 season.
The Gators will have so many prospects in town that it will be a great time for Florida to show these prospects that the Gators are headed in the right direction on the field plus gain momentum on the recruiting circuit.
Five different prospects will be taking official visits to Florida and will stay in Gainesville until Sunday afternoon.
Joining those official visitors will be most of the Gators commitments for the Class of 2015 and 2016.
Without a further ado here’s who’s expected to be in Gainesville.
Five official visitors
Florida plays host to five official visitors this weekend and they are Florida linebacker commit Jerome Baker, linebacker Tevon Coney, Florida receiver commit Derrick Dillon, Arkansas receiver commit K.J. Hill and offensive lineman Martez Ivey.
Baker will be making his first trip to Florida since committing to Florida and receiver commit Derrick Dillon will be at his third Florida Gators game of the season.
This will be the Gators last chance to impress Coney as he plans on deciding next week and right now the Florida Gators and Notre Dame are his top two.
Hill — who wanted a Florida offer for awhile — finally got it but he decided to commit to the hometown Arkansas Razorbacks. The Florida Gators will give it their best shot at getting back in the mix for him.
This will be the first official visit for offensive lineman Martez Ivey but he still plans to take an official visit to Auburn later in the year so the Gators have the chance to set the bar high with a good weekend.
Commits in town
Ten Florida Gators commits will be in town this weekend with eight of them coming from the Class of 2015 and the other two coming from the Class of 2016.
Offensive linemen Tyler Jordan, Mike Horton and Brandon Sandifer will join tight ends Kalif Jackson and Camrin Knight in Gainesville on Saturday night.
Defensive tackle Andrew Ivie will once again be in town to watch his brother Joey play and he will be joined by 2016 commits Tre Jackson and Chauncey Gardner in the South endzone at Saturday.
The job for these commits is to talk to all of the uncommitted prospects during the game and be in their ear talking up the Gators.
Linebacker targets
Three of the Gators top linebacker targets will be on unofficial visits this weekend as linebackers Derrick Graham, Jeffrey Holland and Roquan Smith will be in town.
Smith will make his first trip to Florida since he took an unofficial visit for Friday Night Lights. Right now Florida and Georgia are the top two teams for him as the Gators continue to recruit Smith hard.
Holland has been a frequent visitor to Florida and has been at all of the Gators home games this year. Holland however did take a visit to Auburn last weekend so the Gators will look to get the momentum back.
Last week Graham said that he would take an official visit to Florida but that changed to an unofficial visit but right now Arkansas and Florida are the top two teams in his recruitment.
Three big time DL to visit
Defensive ends CeCe Jefferson and Byron Cowart have been frequent visitors at Florida this season and joining them in the endzone this weekend will be defensive tackle Kendrick Norton who has been at two home games this year so far.
The Gators continue to be in good shape for both Cowart and Jefferson but neither are ready to make any kind of decision.
Norton has been pretty quiet since decommitting from Florida State in the summer but the Florida Gators are a team that is in good shape here as he wants to decide at the Under Armour Game in January.

OMG.. this list is SICK!! The team HAS TO SHOW UP ON SAT and i hope the crowd is nasty loud to show these kids why this is the best UNIVERSITY in the nation!!! GO GATORS!!!
The team on the field is much more important that the crowd, in my opinion. UF must beat a LSU team that has been demolished in the last couple of weeks.
Oh Snowflake ….always the optimist. I can’t recall a game with a list this big of the who’s who in recruits. I hope the Swamp is nasty tonight!
