Florida Gators recruiting visitors list for the FSU game

Florida is in tough situation as the Gators are still without a head coach but they’re still expected to host a large list of visitors.

GatorCountry.com breaks down the Florida Gators recruiting visitors list for the Florida State game here.

Commits coming to town

Six of Florida’s 2018 commits are scheduled to be in attendance for the game on Saturday to watch the Gators.

Running back Dameon Pierce and linebacker David Reese are scheduled to be in town for the second straight week after they watched Florida beat UAB last Saturday.

Joining them are athlete Amari Burney, receiver Jacob Copeland, running back Iverson Clement and offensive lineman Curtis Dunlap.

The Gators are trying to fend off other programs for those guys and in particular Alabama for Copeland who has visited the Tide a few times this year.

Joining the 2018 guys will be four 2019 commits who are scheduled to visit on Saturday.

2019 Safety Jaleel McRae is scheduled to be in town for the second straight week and he will be joined by his friend and defensive tackle commit Jaquaze Sorrells on Saturday.

Joining those guys is scheduled to be defensive end Ja’Markis Weston and and athlete John Dunmore for the 2019 class.

Big targets visiting the Swamp

The Gators are in a tough spot without a head coach but director of player personnel Drew Hughes and the assistants have done a good job of getting some of the Gators top targets on campus for this weekend.

Leading the charge is offensive lineman William Barnes who has the Gators and North Carolina as top two schools in his recruitment.

Miami defensive back commit Gurvan Hall is another guy expected on campus as he’s someone that has flirted with the Gators since last spring.

Florida State offensive lineman Christian Meadows is another guy expected on campus on Saturday and he visited the Gators several times over the summer. Another Florida State commit in safety John Huggins is expected in town.

Receiver Jeshaun Jones (6-1, 176, Fort Myers, FL. South Fort Myers) and LSU running back commit Chris Curry (5-11, 200, Lehigh Acres, FL. Senior) are also expected on campus on Saturday.

Kicker Connor Davis is also expected to make the game on Saturday.
