Florida Gators recruiting visitors list for Kentucky

The Florida Gators recruiting visitors list for last week’s game against UMass was a solid list and this week’s list for the Kentucky seems to be another good one.

Florida will open SEC play on Saturday afternoon which means more prospects are interested in visiting and watching the Gators play.

Commits visiting

The Gators could have six of their commits in town this weekend for the Kentucky game. Florida’s two 2019 commits, defensive tackle Jaquaze Sorrels and safety Jaleel McRae both plan to be in town for the second straight weekend.

Defensive tackle commit Jordon Scott and defensive end commit Zach Carter both say they plan to be in town for the game. Scott was in town for last week’s game as well.

Running back commit Adarius Lemons and linebacker commit Ventrell Miller both say they are trying to visit Florida this weekend. This will be both of their first visits to Florida this fall.

Three big targets coming to town

The Gators have some big name targets still out there as they’re already have 16 commits in the class of 2017. This weekend defensive end Markaviest Bryant says he plans to visit Gainesville. Bryant likes Florida and Auburn a lot but the Gators have really turned up the heat as of late.

Miami defensive back commit C.J. Henderson has been frequent visitor to Gainesville this year and he plans to be back in town this weekend. The Gators have been working hard to flip the Hurricanes commit.

Defensive tackle Tyrone Truesdell plans to make his second trip to town in less than a month. The Gators are trying to beat out Auburn for the defensive tackle

Underclassmen visiting

Florida has done a good job of getting in early on several underclassmen prospects and that shows on the visitors list for this weekend.

2018 linebacker J.J. Petterson (6-2, 210, Moultrie, GA. Colquitt County) has plans to visit Florida for his game on Saturday. Petterson has a Gators offer already.

Last week 2018 running back Lorenzo Lingard didn’t make it in town due to the weather but he says he will make it this weekend.

The same can be said for 2019 receiver Maurice Goolsby who had his plans last week cancelled due to bad weather. Goolsby also plans to make it this weekend.

2018 receiver Jermaine Eskridge (6-3, 202, Tampa, FL. Jefferson) will make his first game this fall on Saturday afternoon. Eskridge has just decomitted from USF but is one of the top receivers in the state.
