Florida Gators recruiting reaction to win over Vanderbilt

The Florida Gators showed off a good offense on Saturday against Vanderbilt and that’s something many recruits wanted to see.

While the Gators didn’t have a lot of recruits in the Swamp on Saturday, several of the Gators commits and targets were watching the game on TV and many of those will be in attendance next week for the game against LSU.

GatorCountry.com asked many of the Gators commits and targets to give us their reaction on Florida’s win on Saturday.

2019 athlete Tyrique Stevenson-“Great win in the Swamp.”

2019 defensive back commit Jaleel McRae- “Stop doubting us so quick and just be patient.”

Receiver target Anthony Schwartz-“ Great offensive showing from Florida today [Saturday].”

2019 commit John Dunmore- “Ran the ball really well to control the clock and my prayers go up to Del Rio on his injury.”

Oregon receiver commit Warren Thompson-“ It was a good win, I was getting a haircut while watching it.”

Defensive end commit Taylor Upshaw-“ Great team win.”

2019 defensive back target Kaiir Elam-“They [Florida] outplayed them. No surprise to me.”

Defensive back commit Amari Burney-“The run game is improving and I like the way everybody on defense is running to the ball.”

Linebacker/defensive back commit Marcus Tillman Jr.-The defense played well at home.”
