ORANGE PARK – Sophomore Andrea Watts finished tied for 19th as one of three Florida Gators competing individually in the James Madison University/Eagle Landing Invitational Tuesday.
Watts shot a final round of eight-over 80, her highest score of the tournament. However, she still posted the best finish among Gators with a total of 228 (75-73-80, +12) to finish in a tie for 19th.
Freshman Megan Pak was another shot back at 229 after shooting a 3-over 75 in the final round. That left her 23rd. Senior Nicole Schachner carded a final-round 77 to finish at 16-over 232, tied for 37th.
The entire Florida team returns to action March 26-28 to participate in the Liz Murphy Collegiate Classic hosted by the University of Georgia in Athens.
