Can Duke still promise him a game at Madison Square Garden? That would be hard to compete with.

Any news on how his visit went this past weekend? Or Ryan Jones who also visited?

Doesn't seem to me like a good reason to sign.

Answering one of my own questions…Jones will announce 10/2 for either UF or V Tech. Some think Jones has yet to be green lighted by Florida. I find that odd but I don’t know bubkis.

Whose Bubkis? Is he a big guy or a guard?

Middle linebacker that wore 51? Out of CVS High School in Chicago? Dick Bubkis?

Added in edit: Sometimes I forget that I am old and know stuff that youngsters might not know. Dick Butkus is a football HOF player that played HS football at CVS HS in Chicago, college ball at Illinois and pro ball for the Bears. He and Gale Sayers (HOF running back from Kansas) were selected in the same draft by the Bears and yet they still sucked for years.

Dick Butkus was truly feared by the opposing team. Dick once told a reporter that he never wanted to hurt a player for the rest of his career or the season. Just only enough for that game.

Back in the late 1970's Dick Cavett had a PBS talk show and one time he had four or five former NFL players on. I know that Bart Starr was one and Dick Butkus was one. He might have had Johnny Unitas and his tight end John Mackey on as well and maybe somebody else. At the beginning of the show guys were exchanging handshakes with "Hi, Bart" and "Hi, Johnny" but when they addressed Dick Butkus it was always something like "Hello, Mr. Butkus."
