I'm an old Mossyback Gator. Born into a USMA/military family (Beat Navy!), my parents retired to an oceanfront condo in Crescent Beach in 1975. HS in St Augustine at St Joe's "when it was downtown" so OG. Fate had me going to UF in the summer of 1978 under a 4-year ROTC scholarship and I graduated with a DMG/RA commission in 1982. Met and married a Gamecock while overseas and we have three great kids who, living in Knoxville for over 30 years, are products of the UTn education system, but they are all rock-ribbed Gators! PoliSci is 'conservative' on most things but my faith makes me uncomfortable with my priors there sometimes. I love Jesus, my wife, my kids, their spouses, six grandkids, birding, reading, Star Wars, LotR, history, good writing, good shooting, and military affairs.Interact
