BLM was 2 things. It was a movement which had a tremendously positive impact on race and diversity conversations in this nation. It was also a small organization without great leadership or centralization that was pretty irrelevant in history except to be the boogeyman to righties. This thread is an example.
BLM is like tea party in a way. There is/was the popular movement, and then there are the political operators - “organizations” who try to fundraise. They are almost separate things. I think all phony grifter entities that invariably pop up should be audited by the IRS, and I tend to think the vast majority of “in the moment” organizations are going to be scams for certain people to grift money out of. The IRS should be all over these groups to make sure they are acting legally. It’s an interesting dichotomy seeing those who no doubt thought Obama “weaponized the IRS” or celebrated Steve Bannon being pardoned by Trump for his fundraising scam, that they would suddenly be so concerned with this sort of activity? Definitely not a racial bias going on!
When anyone starts obsessing about the almost irrelevant KKK, you can tell they've been sucked into the Leftist propaganda cyclone likely never to return. Same coin different side
are they obsessed with kkk? This thread was started on blm and it was maga that introduced kkk into it. We hear more from maga on their hatred of blm and blm’s efforts than we do from blm.
Being that I'm a conservative, when folks talk about MAGA, right, etc.. being racist, to me you are calling me a KKK member. That may not be the intent, but anytime we disagree with anything from the left, the argument from the left usually goes to race. Thus, I equate that to, the left thinks we are all KKK members. If I don't morally agree with something I'm a bigot. Many on hear wonder why the right posters left, and some of them should have, but this is the issue to me. We can disagree all we want and that may make me right and you wrong, but it doesn't make me evil, racist or bigot as many on left claim simply because we disagree. Policies that are blatantly racist do not hardly exit anywhere anymore and they shouldn't, but differing views on how to achieve a positive outcome doesn't make one racist because you disagree with the methods.
Post 1-17 no mention of Jan 6......post #18 PITBOSS brings Jan 6 into discussion.......Post #32 I question the generally non violent nature of Jan 6 being equated by PITTBOSS to the burning looting & violence of the summer of 2020. Post #33 starts you and middleoftheroadgator's questioning me about making this about Jan 6 when I did no such thing.
This begs the question then, of why is it that the Red states take more government handouts than the Blue states?
See here you go right on target. I didn't expect you to understand, just stating the facts. Now I'm crying that I'm a victim. Whatever...
What exactly do you think this chart shows? I can’t wait to hear your explanation and tell you why you’re wrong. lol.
You asked which states. I supplied the answer. Now you need it explained as well. Take an econ. class or find an adult you haven't bored to explain it.
Don’t think it’s not lost on me and everyone else who reads your post here that you failed to answer my question. I will ask it again in a different way: what conclusion are you drawing from your graph? You seem really smart. Explain it to someone dumb like me.
↑ Poster from his post #45 - "They are too busy working and paying taxes to care." My post #51 "This begs the question then, of why is it that the Red states take more government handouts than the Blue states? Poster from his post #55- "Which state(s) exactly." My post # 56 shows a chart and a map showing relative amts that states send to Feds vs the amts the state receives from the Feds. Draw your conclusion any way you wish. This forum needs no further explanation since the chart and map shows "the Red states take more government handouts than the Blue states?"
