Gator Country TV is about to crank up for another season this week and this time we’ve got “Mr. D” and “Mr. O” ready to go. Former Gator stars Scot Brantley and Reidel Anthony will appear regularly to offer their insights on the defensive and offensive units of the Florida Gators. Both will also write columns for GatorCountry.com once the season begins.
Brantley and Anthony will appear regularly with host Buddy Martin to offer their insights on the defensive and offensive units of the Florida Gators. Both will also write columns for GatorCountry.com once the season begins.
They will be joined for part of the show by John Brantley, former Gator quarterback and head coach at Trinity Catholic and will also discuss various technical aspects of the game, performances by individuals and overall scheme and philosophy.
The live TV shows on GatorCountry.com will originate from Beef O’Brady’s on Silver Springs Blvd. in Ocala (Tuesday night around 8:30) and Beef O’Brady’s on University Ave. and 13th Street (9 p.m.) starting this week, barring technical difficulties.
According to Executive Producer Brenden Martin, Beef O’Brady’s in Gainesville will also be the site of some pre-game and post-game shows on Saturday’s for home games. Watch for announcement about special events there. Martin has returned from a six-month sabbatical on the West Coast where he produced and edited various sports shows, including the USC’s spring game, Race Across America and National Underclassmen combines.
The Gainesville Show will feature Gator Country staffers Dugan Arnett, John Fineran, Tim Casey, John Patton and Derek Tyson. Jesse Walker will also be producing the show.
Once again Gator Country TV is also planning to partner with Cox Media for its weekly GCTV show with interviews, game highlights and round table discussions. Most of those segments will also be featured on GatorCountry.com.
