The Florida Gators run past McNeese State 49-7 in the Swamp

The Florida Gators (1-1) defeated the McNeese State Cowboys (0-2) on Saturday night in the Swamp to get in the win column.

Florida’s running game was non-existent against Utah last week, but it showed up in a big way on Saturday night in the Swamp.

All of three of the Gators’ running backs played and all three scored rushing touchdowns in the win.

 

FIRST QUARTER:

Florida 6, McNeese State 0- 2-yard rushing touchdown by Montrell Johnson with 10:59 to go.

Florida 13, McNeese State 0- 1-yard rushing touchdown by Graham Mertz with 28 seconds to go.

Florida 19, McNeese State 0- 2-yard rushing touchdown by Treyaun Webb with 7:04 to go.

Florida 26, McNeese State 0- 8-yard rushing touchdown by Trevor Etienne with 34 seconds to go.
