Recruiting reaction to Florida Gators vs. Georgia game

The Florida Gators suffered a tough loss on Saturday afternoon to the Georgia Bulldogs in Jacksonville to give the Gators their second loss of the year.

While recruits weren’t allowed to take visits to this game, several prospects were watching the Gators on TV on Saturday.

The Gators will however have a chance next Saturday to host prospects on campus when they host Missouri.

GatorCountry.com caught up with several recruits to get their reaction to the Gators tough loss on Saturday in Jacksonville.

Florida commit Riley Simonds-“Great teams go through adversity. It’s what they do after adversity that makes them great. And it’s always great to be a Gator.”

Florida commit Diwun Black-“Ughh that hurt but we good,” Black tweeted.

Auburn defensive end commit Jaren Handy-“Shocked but they going to bounce back even harder.”

2020 offensive lineman Zane Herring-“They played hard and that defensive stand on the 1-yard line was probably the best thing about the game in my opinion. They worked hard and didn’t back down. Offense looked great after the first quarter. Great game plan just have to execute.”

Defensive end Khris Bogle-“unbelievable by both defenses.”

Florida athlete commit Trent Whittemore-“tough loss we will bounce back though.”

Florida linebacker commit Jesiah Pierre-“We’re going to bounce back and prove all the haters wrong.”
