OL G’Nivre Carr commits to the Florida Gators over Tennessee

The Florida Gators picked up their commitment of the Class of 2026 on Sunday after official visits ended.

Offensive lineman G’Nivre Carr (6-4, 336, Bradenton, FL. IMG Academy) committed to Florida over Tennessee among others on Sunday after he was on campus this weekend.

“Gator Boys, stay hot,” Carr said on social media after committing.

Carr who is from Ocala has been to Gainesville more than any other school and his relationship with the coaching staff won out.

The Gators see Carr as an interior offensive lineman and that’s a position the coaching staff has been working to address this recruiting cycle.

Carr who has been a Florida lean for a while now took a visit to Tennessee recently and the Volunteers were making a run for the lineman before the Gators ended things this weekend.

With the addition of Carr, the Gators now have 3 commits as he joins Will Griffin and defensive lineman Jamir Perez in the class after Perez committed two weeks ago.
