Grubbs says Florida Gators’ offer “means everything” to him

On Saturday, the Florida Gators hosted several quarterbacks in the 2025 and 2026 classes on campus for the junior day as they look to get ahead of the game with a signal caller.

2026 quarterback Noah Grubbs (6-4, 205, Lake Mary, FL. High) was on campus on Saturday and enjoyed getting to be around the coaching staff again.

“My visit went great,” Grubbs said of his visit to Florida on Saturday. “I’ve already been on campus over five times in the past year so nothing was new to me. I was there really to get another opportunity to talk to the coaches with my parents and to see exactly where I stood with them in my recruitment.”

Grubbs entered the visit without an offer from Florida but after talking with head coach Billy Napier, the 2026 quarterback now holds an offer from the Gators.

“I was able to really talk with Coach [Ryan] O’Hara and Coach Napier, Coach Napier extended the offer to me in his office and that’s a moment I’ll never forget,” he said on which coach from Florida offered him. “He loved how much I have developed over the year, and he talked about my historical season and how impressed he was, but he really liked how much my body has changed over the last couple of months.”

The 2026 quarterback will remember the day the Gators offered him forever and he says Florida is a school he has always liked.

“This offer means everything to me, it was my childhood dream to be a Gator and now that’s a real possibility in the next 2 ½ years,” Grubbs said on what the offer means to him. “Florida is a school I loved as a kid growing up watching college football so I’ve done everything I could to try to put me in a position to earn an offer.”

Grubbs has built a good relationship with the Gators over the past year and he says the coaching staff always makes him feel welcomed on campus.

“My relationship with those guys has been great,” he said on his relationship with Napier and O’Hara. “Coach O’Hara and my quarterback trainer Baylin Trujillo have a great relationship. Every time I’m on Florida’s campus, Coach O’Hara and Coach Napier spend a lot of time with me individually which makes it more personable and special for me.”

Napier’s offense and how he uses the quarterback is also something that stands out to Grubbs when it comes to Florida.

“I love that they go through the quarterback and how they make simple reads,” Grubbs said on what he likes about Florida’s offense. “Also, they use the quarterback in the run game as well.”

The Gators aren’t the only big school recruiting Grubbs hard as several others are after him but he says he already has plans to get back to Gainesville.

“Right now, the schools that are showing me and recruiting me the hardest as of today are Notre Dame, Michigan, Ohio State, Florida, UNC, Virginia Tech, Miami, Auburn, Arkansas, and UCF,” he said. “I will be back at Florida this spring for a couple practices and a few summer camps.”
