Goods enters transfer portal

UF redshirt sophomore defensive tackle Lamar Goods has announced on Instagram that he will enter the transfer portal.

He becomes the first Gator to enter the portal during what Billy Napier refers to as “the spring portal period,” though he almost certainly won’t be the only one.

Goods, a four-star prospect originally from Canada who played high school football at the St. Thomas More School in Oakdale, Connecticut, didn’t play in any games as a true freshman in 2020. He battled through an injury and played in just two games last year.

Goods missed some practice time this spring and will now look for a fresh start elsewhere. He’ll have all four years of eligibility remaining.
