Friday Night Frenzy Preview Week 2: Florida Gators recruiting 2024

It’s that time of the year again when the Friday Night Lights are bright and prospects across the country are starting the high school football season.

Like the past years, Gator Country is going to do a preview every Thursday for all of the Florida Gators commits and on Monday we will do a full recap including stats and notes from the past weeks’ games.

This year we are going to also highlight the key players to watch in the game that aren’t Florida Gators commits but rather targets or just big names in the game.

Receiver Tawaski Abrams (5-11, 175, Fort Myers, FL. Dunbar)

Matchup: Dunbar (1-0) will play travel to take on North Fort Myers on Friday night.

Yearly Stats: Abrams had three catches for 20 yards last week.

Andrew always knew he wanted to be involved with sports in some capacity. He began by coaching high school football for six years before deciding to pursue a career in journalism. While coaching, he was a part of two state semifinal teams in the state of Alabama. Given his past coaching experience, he figured covering recruiting would be a perfect fit.
