The Florida Gators will host the Vanderbilt Commodores on Saturday afternoon in the Swamp for homecoming as the Gators look to rebound from last week’s lost to Kentucky.
The coaching staff will also host several prospects on campus this weekend including an official visitor for the first time this fall.
GatorCountry brings you a Florida Gators recruiting visitors list preview for this weekend’s Vanderbilt game.
Official Visitor:
The Gators have put together a nice offensive line class already in the 2024 class and this weekend they will host their biggest remaining target on the line on campus.
Offensive lineman Jordan Seaton has visited Florida once before and he returns for his official visit this weekend. Seaton is a guy that the Gators would love to finish off their offensive line class with and they’re fighting Alabama, Colorado, and Tennessee among others for his signature. The Gators need to impress Seaton during this weekend’s visit.
Commits coming to town
Joining Seaton this weekend will be several of Florida’s commits who will help recruit the offensive lineman to Florida.
Quarterback commit DJ Lagway will be back in town for the third time this fall, and he has made Seaton a priority for the last few months. I expect Lagway to work on Seaton this weekend.
Receiver commit TJ Abrams and Izaiah Williams will both be in town this weekend and they will be joined by defensive back Josiah Davis.
Buchholz teammates linebacker commit Myles Graham and defensive line commit Kendall Jackson will both be in town this weekend for the fourth time this fall.
Newly offered prospect to visit
Florida offered athlete Gregory Smith III on Thursday and he now will visit Gainesville on Saturday.
Underclassmen to visit the Swamp
2025 quarterback Antwann Hill will be back in town this weekend and he was in town once already this fall. Hill likes the Gators a lot and is considered one of the top quarterbacks in the country for the 2025 class.
2026 quarterback Will Griffin also will be back for the second time this fall on Saturday. Griffin is from Tampa and likes the Gators early on but several other top programs are involved with the quarterback.
2025 offensive lineman Solomon Thomas, 2025 receiver Jayvan Boggs, and 2025 defensive lineman Elijah Griffin also plan to be on campus. Griffin is considered one of the top players in the country for next year.
2025 offensive lineman Cortez Smith also plans to be in the Swamp on Saturday.
2026 offensive lineman G’Nivre Carr also plans to make the short drive up from Ocala this weekend.
