Florida Gators pull away from the Missouri Tigers in the second half

The Florida Gators (4-2, 1-2) defeated the Missouri Tigers (2-4, 0-3) on Saturday in the Swamp for homecoming.

The Gators defense held strong for the majority of the game and gave the Gators offense several short fields to work with.

Defensive back Jaydon Hill had two interceptions in the game including one that he returned for a touchdown.

 

FIRST QUARTER

Florida 3, Missouri 0- 37-yard field goal is good by Adam Mihalek with 2:58 to go in the first quarter.

Florida 10, Missouri 0- 49-yard interception returned for a touchdown by Jaydon Hill with 1:01 to go in the first quarter.

Florida 10, Missouri 7- 4-yard rushing touchdown by Cody Schrader with 3:55 to go in the second quarter.

Scoring Drive: 11 plays for 68 yards, 5:36 time of possession.

Florida 10, Missouri 10- 28-yard field goal is good by Harrison Mevis with 20 seconds to go.

Scoring Drive: 9 plays for 22 yards, 2:37 time of possession.

 

THIRD QUARTER:

Florida 17, Missouri 10- 3-yard rushing touchdown by Montrell Johnson with 6:55 to go in the third quarter.

Scoring Drive: 6 plays for 82 yards, 2:35 time of possession.

 

FOURTH QUARTER:

Florida 24, Missouri 10- 9-yard passing touchdown from Anthony Richardson to Ricky Pearsall with 11:10 to go.

Scoring Drive: 9 plays for 91 yards, 4:52 time of possession.
