Florida Gators football adds two future opponents

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The University of Florida football team will host Florida Atlantic on Sept. 5, 2026 and University of South Alabama at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium on Sept. 4, 2027, it was announced on Monday.

 

The contest against the Owls will mark the fifth game between the two programs dating back to 2007, with the Gators holding a 4-0 advantage in the series. The last time the two teams met, Florida earned a 35-14 victory. The game against the Jaguars will be the first time Florida and South Alabama will have met in their respective programs’ histories.

 

After 12-straight sold-out games at The Swamp, fans can now secure 2025 season tickets for the six home games in The Swamp with matchups including Long Island (Aug. 30), USF (Sept. 6), Texas (Oct. 4), Mississippi State (Oct. 18), Tennessee (Nov. 22), and Florida State (Nov. 29). Season ticket packages are available starting at less than $85 per game along with a Gator Boosters contribution.
