Campbell enjoyed meeting with Billy Napier during his Florida OV

This past weekend, the Florida Gators had one of their top targets on the offensive line on campus for an official visit.

Offensive lineman Chancellor Campbell (6-8, 306, St. Petersburg, FL. Lakewood) was on campus and the highlight was meeting with head coach Billy Napier.

“It was seeing Coach Napier, like meeting him back at the office,” Campbell said of the highlight of the visit. “You know that’s kind of the dude that really believed in me from the start, recruiting me when I was really like down low. He was always sending me text, he liked seeing my growth and seeing me. That really was the highlight of this visit.”

Campbell has been building a relationship with the rest of the coaching staff including the offensive line coaches and the lineman says those relationships have grown over the past year.

“The relationship with the coaches, like Coach D [Johnathan Decoster] and Coach Sale,” he said on what he liked about the coaches. “It was really like, they talked to me from the start and I have grown a relationship with the coaches that have lasted.”

While on the visit, Campbell was also able to see the academic side of things and he’s still trying to decide on a major.

“I want to major probably in planetary science,” Campbell said. “But I might major in like real estate business, or I might minor in that.”

INSIDER BUZZ: Florida made a big impression on the offensive lineman who also has been talking to Miami, Ohio State, and Penn State.
