2026 WR Jabari Brady believes the Florida Gators will improve

On Saturday, several top 2026 prospects were on campus to watch the Florida Gators open the season against Miami.

2026 receiver Jabari Brady (6-1, 185, Hollywood, FL. Chaminade-Madonna Prep) was on campus and he liked how both teams threw the ball.

“Both teams passed the ball a lot, there’s major development for Florida,” Brady said of the game on Saturday. “Miami has Cam Ward, he’s doing a good job of getting his receivers the ball. Both teams have major improvement.”

Brady noticed that the Gators passing game needed some work but he was impressed by the Gators young freshman quarterback DJ Lagway.

“UF passes the ball a lot but it’s just some little things they need to fix,” he said of Florida’s offense. “I see [DJ] Lagway being the product for Florida, he’s young and got in the game when the other quarterback got injured. I think he’s going to be a good quarterback.”

The receiver wanted to see what the Gators looked like on Saturday, and he says while he didn’t see a win, he was still interested in the Gators.

“It’s not really turnoff for me because I have two years until I graduate,” Brady said of Florida. “They need big improvements on the team, they have a young quarterback starting now so I think they’re going to do good.”

A couple of things keep Brady coming back to Gainesville to visit including the people around the program.

“I like the environment, a lot of people show love, the coaches show love, the players show love,” he said on what he likes about Florida. “I know a lot of people on the football team.”

Brady isn’t ready to narrow his list of schools down yet but he says a few schools are doing a good job of recruiting him right now.

“No teams are on the top of my list right now, I’m going to take some visits,” Brady said if he has any leaders. “Ohio State, Florida, Florida State, all of the Florida schools, Oregon, and Missouri are doing a good job with the relationships.”
