2026 safety Kaiden Hall builds on prior relationship with new Gators coach during visit

Billy Napier and the Florida Gators hosted several top prospects from the 2026 class for the final weekend of junior days before the dead period begins later this week. 2026 four-star safety Kaiden Hall spoke with Gator Country during the visit to discuss his thoughts on newly hired Co-DC Vinnie Sunseri and where the Gators currently stand in his recruitment.

“I knew him when he was at Washington, so I’ve kind of had a whole relationship with him. He’s a really good coach and was under Bill Belichick, as well as Coach Saban in college. So he clearly knows a bunch,” Hall said on his relationship with Coach Sunseri.

The 6-3, 195-pound defensive back spent most of his time chatting with Coach Will Harris and Coach Sunseri during the visit. It’s still early in the 2026 cycle, but both coaches have made it clear that Hall will be a priority for the Gators in this class.

“We didn’t watch any film but he kind of talked about the defense and some of the schemes and how I would be a top priority for the Gators,” Hall said.

With Hall focused on finding a home that will develop him throughout his college career, Florida’s coaching staff has urged the Milton defensive back to take his time and find the best fit for him.

“The message was to just find the best fit for me. I want to be developed into one of the best in the country, so really just finding the best fit,” Hall said on what he’s looking for in his recruitment.

Kaiden Hall also spent time with Gators’ running back Ja’Kobi Jackson to discuss how Florida could be the place for him and his future in college. Being around multiple players in the locker room was big for Hall in that regard.

“I got to spend time with Ja’Kobi Jackson today. We really just talked about what the best fit is for me,” Hall said on his time with Jackson. “It was a great place and great atmosphere, some of the guys in the locker room were great to be around.

With the dead period beginning on the 3rd of February, Hall is currently in Tuscaloosa with Alabama while figuring out his official visit dates for the summer. The Milton High School defensive back currently has Alabama, Florida, Florida State and Clemson at the top of his list heading into February. The plan for Hall is to hopefully take four official visits in the summer with Florida being one of the schools included.

In three seasons played at Milton High School, the 6-3, 195-pound defensive back recorded 104 total tackles (71 solo), 11 tackles for loss and one interception at the varsity level. Hall has also been a weapon for Milton High’s offense throughout the years recording 655 total yards of offense. The four-star safety is taking his time with his recruitment but wants to hopefully commit before his senior season.
