Gator Country Road Trip takes a look at which prospects visited the campuses of SEC schools and those of some of Florida’s biggest rivals the past week.
With week seven brought us a lot of good games around the SEC and around the country which meant more prospects visiting schools.
A trip to Auburn, where the Tigers walloped Western Carolina saw visitors Justin Thornton (committed) and Prattville, AL running back Kamryn Pettway in attendance.
In Fayetteville, Arkansas was spanked by South Carolina. The Razorbacks hosted Florida tight end target Deandre Goolsby, who was on an official visit.
In Athens, where Georgia fell victim to Missouri in an midday start, there were numerous 2015 prospects in attendance but none who are Florida targets.
Kentucky got smacked by Alabama in Lexington Saturday night. Attending that game as guests of the Wildcats were Florida JUCO defensive line target Jarran Reed and Kentucky native Matt Elam.
LSU beat Florida Saturday in Death Valley before a packed house that included Malachi Dupre and Adoree Jackson, who were both there on official visits.
In Oxford, Ole Miss hung tough with Texas A&M Saturday night before dropping a 41-38 decision. In the crowd were Florida targets Jamal Adams and Bo Scarbrough, who were were both on official visits to Ole Miss this past weekend.
