The Florida Gators had a successful first weekend of official visitors last weekend and now they set their sights on a new group of visitors.
Jon Sumrall and his staff will host several more top targets on campus this weekend for the second weekend of official visits.

Big play receiver to visit
The Gators already have three receivers committed but they have their sights on adding another top-notch player at the position. This weekend they will take their shot at receiver Eric McFarland as he will travel up from IMG this weekend. Texas A&M heads into the visit as the leader but McFarland has been open to the Gators, but this weekend is big for both sides.
Defensive side of the ball to invade the Swamp
The Gators’ staff is hoping to close on several top defensive targets this weekend as they will host five of their top targets this weekend.
Defensive end Elijah Guertin will make the trip down from Rhode Island this weekend to check out the campus. Guertin has ties to defensive coordinator Brad White as White attending the same high school as Guertin. Florida is battling Penn State here but the Gators seem to have some momentum heading into the visit this weekend.
Defensive end Cahron Wheeler has been a top target for the staff since they arrived in town an this weekend the staff hopes to separate from the pack. Clemson and Maryland have been mentioned as well for Wheeler as he makes the trip down from Maryland.
Defensive back Adryan Cole will make the trip down from Georgia on Thursday as the Gators battle Georgia and Ole Miss for his signature. Florida has work to do this weekend but Cole has been open about his interest in the Gators.
Defensive back Andre Hyppolite will be in town from Miami this weekend and Florida hopes to gain some momentum with Hyppolite and his family. Miami is the team with the edge here but Notre Dame is also in the mix. Hyppolite likes Florida a lot but getting the family comfortable in Gainesville is a key.
Athlete Kamarion Johnson can play receiver or safety in college and the Gators are telling him that they will figure out his position once he gets on campus if he wants to come to Florida. The Gators are in great shape here and Florida would love to close the deal this weekend.
Commits coming to town
Helping the staff recruit this weekend will be several commits who will be in town for their official visits.
Quarterback Davin Davidson will be in town fresh off being at the Elite 11 and Davidson will be recruiting others as he has been a key recruiter in the class.
Running back Andrew Beard and receivers Anthony Jennings and Elias Pearl are all solid with the Gators and will be in town this weekend.
Defensive line commit Cain Van Norden will also be on campus for the first time since committing to the Gators this weekend.
