DB Aamaury Fountain flips his commitment to the Florida Gators

The Florida Gators continued their hot streak on the recruiting trail on Saturday when they flipped a prospect from another SEC school.

Defensive back Aamaury Fountain (6-3, 182, Warner Robins, GA. Northside) flipped his commitment from South Carolina to Florida on Saturday after the Gators spring game.

Fountain has been a frequent visitor to Gainesville since Jon Sumrall and his staff arrived in Gainesville in December.

The defensive back has been to Gainesville three times this spring to watch practice and has built a strong relationship with the coaching staff including defensive backs coach Brandon Harris.

Fountain who’s ranked as a top defensive back is a guy the Gators like at corner because of his length and speed.

The defensive back joins quarterback Davin Davidson, offensive lineman Maxwell Hiller, defensive back Amare Nugent, receiver Tramond Collins, and tight end Jackson Ballinger in the class.
