The Florida Gators picked up their 3rd commitment for the Class of 2027 on Wednesday afternoon and it comes from a familiar target.
Receiver Tramond Collins (6-2, 183, Cottondale, FL. High) committed to the Gators just months after he left the class after Billy Napier was fired.
“Back like I never left,” Collins said on social media.
When Collins decommitted from Florida in December he wanted to build a relationship with Jon Sumrall and the rest of the staff to see what they had to offer.
Collins did just that as he was on campus multiple times in Gainesville since Sumrall was hired including being on campus this past Monday to watch the Gators go through spring practice.
Collins is an all-around athlete who plays both running back and receiver in high school and is also a threat on special teams in the return game.
Now that Collins has committed, he joins defensive back Amare Nugent and tight end Jackson Ballinger in the class for the Gators.
