The Florida Gators have signed Tulane kicker Patrick Durkin, Gator Country confirms.
A First Team All-Conference selection and Special Teams Player of the year in the American Conference, Durkin connected on 25 of 28 field goal attempts (89.3%) including 4 of 6 from 50+ yards. The Plainfield, Illinois native was 21 of 22 inside 50 yards in 2025.
Durkin was 41 of 42 on extra points with a long of 52 yards, which set his career high.
Durkin will be a redshirt sophomore in 2026 with three years of eligibility remaining.
Florida hired Tulane special team coach Johnathan Galante, who coached Durkin for two seasons with the Green Wave. Galante was a 2025 Broyles Award nominee.
The 5’10, 175-pound kicker will replace Trey Smack, who put together a great season in Gainesville and will likely be kicking on Sunday’s next year.
