The Florida Gators are expected to hire Tulane’s Joe Craddock as its quarterbacks coach, according to a report from Pete Thamel of ESPN.
Craddock served as the Green Wave’s offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach since 2024. The 40 year old was in the same role at Troy from 2022-23 under Jon Sumrall.
As the primary play caller, Craddock guided Tulane to a dominant 34-21 win over North Texas in the American Conference Championship game, earning the Green Wave a spot in the 2025 College Football Playoffs.
Craddock also has experience in the SEC, serving as the Razorbacks’ offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach from 2018-19. Prior to Arkansas, Craddock became the youngest offensive coordinator in the country at the time, joining SMU in 2015 and leading the Mustangs’ offense for three years.
