Banks, Moore rank inside CBS Sports’ top 100 NFL Draft prospects list

Florida defensive lineman Caleb Banks and cornerback Devin Moore were named to CBS Sports’ top 100 NFL Draft prospects list last week.

DL CALEB BANKS: No.65

The redshirt senior ranked as the 65th 2026 NFL Draft prospect, according to Mike Renner of CBS Sports.

“Banks is a specimen at 6-foot-6, 330 pounds, but we’ve only seen him for one game this season due to a foot injury. He has top-10 talent but inconsistent tape last year,” Renner wrote.

Banks suffered a foot injury in 2024 which caused him to miss the first two games of the 2025 campaign. In his season debut vs. LSU, Banks reinjured his foot and has been sidelined since.

Prior to his injury in 2024, Banks had a dominant two-game stretch against LSU and Ole Miss that garnered significant NFL attention for the 6’6″, 330-pound defensive tackle. Against the Tigers and Rebels alone, Banks combined for 3.5 sacks and 14 pressures, the most among defensive tackles during that span.

The Michigan native has unusual athleticism for someone his size, showing the ability to get off the line of scrimmage with explosive power and quickness.

Banks returned for his fifth and final season with an emphasis on consistency. Though an injury has derailed those plans so far, he has a chance to return late in the year and add to his résumé ahead of the 2026 NFL Draft.

Banks has been listed as doubtful ahead of Florida’s week 12 matchup at Ole Miss.

CB DEVIN MOORE: No.99

Senior Devin Moore was one of a steep 11 cornerbacks named on Renner’s top 100 prospects list.

While the injury history is likely a concern for NFL teams, Moore is in the middle of his best season yet, allowing 12 catches for 112 yards on 22 targets. Moore holds opposing quarterbacks to an NFL passer rating of 61.2 when targeted, far and away the lowest in the Gators’ secondary. Moore also grades as Florida’s best defender and the eighth-best cornerback in college football, according to Pro Football Focus.

“I think there’s always gonna be some things I can clean up. But as a total of this year, I feel like this has probably been my best year. I’m always focused on little things I can improve on.”

Moore’s improved health has made a noticeable difference for the Naples, Florida, native on the field. His talent has never been in question, only his availability.

“It’s meant the world, man,” Moore said on staying healthy. “There’s no better feeling than being out there with my brothers. We put in so much time with the coaches, everyone around here, and just being able to go out there, because you’re only given 12 guaranteed Saturdays, so you can’t take any of them for granted. So just each Saturday coming, we in pre-game, I’m with my brothers. We run out there, I’m with my brothers, and we’re on the field in the heat of the battle, I’m with my brothers. It just means the world.”

Moore boasts a rare combination of length, speed, and physicality, standing at 6’3″ and 198 pounds. Moore has made a number of impact plays in his career, recording five interceptions over the past three seasons, two of which were shortened by injuries.

It doesn’t feel like Moore will be drafted as high as he probably should given his injury history, but one NFL team will get a special talent whenever he’s selected.
