Florida’s 2026-29 SEC opponents revealed

The Southeastern Conference has officially switched to a nine-game conference schedule starting in the 2026 college football season. SEC Athletics Directors established priorities upon which to build schedules, quoting traditional rivalries, rotational frequency, competitive fairness, and CFP participation.

Each school will play three annual opponents and each team’s remaining six games will rotate among the remaining conference schools.

As reported earlier by On3’s Chris Low Fow, Florida will face Georgia, South Carolina, and Kentucky yearly over the next four seasons. The annual opponents were determined by traditional rivalries, competitive fairness, and geography. The SEC will reevaluate annual opponents every four years to maintain a continued competitive balance.

The new format allows for each school to play every other SEC opponent at least once every two years and twice over a four-year period (home and away).

Gator Country provides Florida’s 2026-29 SEC opponents as released on ESPN2 and SEC Network. Opponents are listed in no particular order. Exact schedules for the 2026 season will be released in December.
