Could Florida have three or more draft picks again in 2026?

Florida Gators basketball had three players selected in the same draft for just the second time in program history (five in 2007) when Walter Clayton Jr, Alijah Martin, and Will Richard heard their names called throughout the 2025 NBA Draft. From 2014-24, the Gators had just two draft picks (Tre Mann, Scottie Lewis). In three years under head coach Todd Golden, Florida has already passed that mark with three draft picks.

After claiming the programs third National Championship in 2024-25, Florida reloaded with talent and should have another extremely competitive roster in 2025-26. Is there a chance Florida could have three or more draft picks again next season? USA Today thinks so.

In a way too early 2026 first round mock draft, USA today projects three Gators to be selected within the first 29 picks of next year’s draft.

No.10 Boogie Fland

No.19 Alex Condon

No.29 Thomas Haugh

Fland and Condon seem like obvious draft picks after going through the NBA Draft process this offseason but ultimately returning for another year of college. Fland, a transfer from Arkansas, was projected as high as a top ten draft pick earlier in the regular season before a hand injury cut his freshman campaign short. Still, Fland looked to be a consensus second round pick this year. Condon played his way into a fringe first round / early second round pick but wanted a guarantee in order to stay in the draft. If both can improve on their games next year, there’s no reason why both won’t be NBA Draft picks.

Thomas Haugh is perhaps Florida’s most intriguing prospect. Standing at 6’9, 215 pounds, Haugh is a versatile defender that improved his shooting numbers throughout his sophomore season. In a press conference before the 2025 NBA Draft, Golden predicted Haugh would be on 2026 mock drafts as soon as this year’s draft is over.

“Tommy came here and did what he does and now is the guy that’s going to be on mock drafts as soon as this draft is over,” Golden said.

Golden was right. Haugh’s age is not going to help him in the NBA Draft as he’ll be almost 23 years old by next year’s draft. However, it’s highly unlikely a team passes on Haugh’s size and skillset if he continues to improve offensively.

NBA Draft Room’s publication has Condon at pick 28 in the first round of the 2026 draft, while Fland and Haugh are early second round picks. Depending on where you look, you’ll find at least one of these three Gators projected as a first round pick next year.

Another player that may sneak his way onto mock drafts at some point is Princeton transfer Xaivian Lee, who received some interest from NBA teams but decided not to test the waters in the draft process. Lee is a crafty guard that can handle the ball and score from all three levels. Lee is ranked as the 78th NBA draft prospect in 2026, according to NBA Draft Room.

The Gators made program history in 2025 with three NBA Draft picks, and it looks like that could be the case again in 2026.
