Florida Gators spring game visitors list preview

The Florida Gators will host their annual Orange and Blue spring game on Saturday afternoon in the Swamp as they finish off the spring portion of their schedule.

Several prospects from all over the state and southeast will be in the Swamp on Saturday as they will get to see the spring game as well as watch fans celebrate the basketball team.

Saturday concludes what has been a busy spring for the Gators’ coaching staff and support staff who have hosted hundreds of prospects on campus the last month.

GatorCountry brings you a preview of this weekend’s visitors who will be on campus.

Visitors on the offensive side of the ball

Headlining this weekend’s visitors will be offensive lineman Felix Ojo who will make the trip from Texas on Saturday. Ojo is currently at Ohio State before he makes his way down to Gainesville.

Tight end Kekua Aumua will make the trip up from IMG on Saturday as Aumua already has set an official visit with Florida for June 6th.

Offensive lineman Graham Houston has been to Gainesville before and he will make the trip again from Buford, Georgia. Houston likes Georgia and Ole Miss as well as the Gators.

Loaded group of defensive prospects to visit

One of the biggest names expected on campus this weekend is defensive lineman JaReylan McCoy who named Florida his top school earlier this spring. McCoy will be in town from Mississippi on Saturday.

Defensive lineman Vodney Cleveland has been a frequent visitor to Gainesville and he will once again be on campus this weekend.

Linebacker Adam Balogoun-Ali will be in town from Palm Beach Gardens as Florida continues to stay in contact with the instate prospect.

Defensive back Preston Ashley will make the trip over from Mississippi on Saturday to watch the game.

Florida State defensive back commit Darryl Bell is scheduled to arrive in Gainesville on Friday and stay through the spring game. Florida offered Bell in March and this will be the first time to campus since that offer.

Defensive back Ayden Pouncey is very familiar with the Gators as both of his brothers played for Florida. Pouncey is someone that the Gators are continuing to work on as Miami and LSU are recruiting him hard.

Defensive back Bralan Wommack arrived in Gainesville on Thursday and plans to stay through Saturday to see the spring game.

Commits coming to town

Two of Florida’s commits plan to be in town on Saturday to help the coaching staff recruit and quarterback commit Will Griffin will be leading the charge there.

Linebacker Izayia Williams also plans to be in town on Saturday as Williams just visited North Carolina.
