Junior Day visitors list preview for the Florida Gators

The Florida Gators will host its first junior day of 2025 on Saturday when several top 2026 and 2027 prospects will visit Gainesville.

Billy Napier and the coaching staff closed out the 2025 class strong and look to build on that with the 2026 class.

Visitors this weekend will have the chance to see the academic side of things as well as meet with the coaching staff.

Out of state LB to visit

One of the biggest names this weekend will be linebacker Anthony “Tank” Jones who will make the trip over from Alabama on Saturday. Jones is one of the top linebackers in the country for next year and someone that Mike Peterson likes a lot.

 

Skill guys to visit Florida

Several of Florida’s top skill position targets plan to be on campus on Saturday for junior day.

Quarterback commit Will Griffin will be in town with his recruiting hat on as he will be helping the coaching staff recruit others.

Receiver Naeem Burroughs plans to make the short drive over from Jacksonville on Saturday after the Gators visited him earlier this month. Burroughs has been to Gainesville several times already and likes the Gators early on.

Florida State receiver commit Darryon Williams will be on campus as well as the Gators look to flip the Tampa Plant athlete. Williams is friends with Florida signee Waltez Clark and that has the Gators in the mix.

Tight ends Kekua Aumua and Kaiden Prothro will both make the trip to town with Aumua hailing from IMG and Prothro out of Georgia.

Texas A&M tight end commit Xavier Tiller is another Georgia prospect that will visit Gainesville on Saturday. Tiller is one of Russ Callaway’s top targets and someone the Gators have a chance with flipping.

 

Offensive Linemen to visit Gainesville

Offensive lineman Michael Bowens plans to make the trip over Alabama on Saturday and he’s someone that knows early enrollee Myles Johnson as they’re both from the same area.

Offensive linemen Jakobe Green and Zachary Lewis are two guys the Gators have visited at their schools recently and they will return to campus this weekend.

Offensive lineman Mitchell Smith picked up an offer from Florida earlier this week and he quickly set up a visit to Gainesville.

 

Defensive linemen to visit

Defensive lineman Vodney Cleveland will make the drive over from Birmingham on Saturday as the Gators look to make a move for the Alabama native.

Defensive linemen Tico Crittendon and Kendall Guervil also plan to visit campus and both have offers already.

Defensive linemen Valdin Sone and Nolan Wilson round out the linemen expected to visit Gainesville as Gerald Chatman is looking for a big class this year.

 

 

Other defenders to visit

South Carolina linebacker commit Kennan Britt is someone the Gators have been on for over a year and the Alabama native plans to be on campus this weekend. Britt is interested in Florida and the Gators visited him earlier this year.

Linebacker Anthony Davis will make the drive down from Georgia on Saturday as well.

Defensive backs CJ Hester and Enarri White will be in town to meet with defensive backs coach Will Harris on Saturday.
