Grill in the Ville cookout visitors list for the Florida Gators

The Florida Gators will host their annual Grill in the Ville cookout event on Saturday as it’s the last big recruiting event of the summer.

Billy Napier and his staff have hosted a lot of big-name prospects on campus this summer and on Saturday they will have a more relaxed event with several of those prospects.

The reviews in the past have been very positive as prospects and their families like the laid-back event where they’re able to get to know the coaches better.

GatorCountry brings you a visitors list for this weekend’s big cookout event.

2025 prospects to visit

Receiver Naeshaun Montgomery was in Gainesville on Thursday, and he will return on Saturday for the event. Montgomery plans to announce a decision in August and the Gators are trending in the right direction for him. Montgomery is someone the Gators like a lot to pair with Vernell Brown III and Joshua Moore.

Linebacker Ty Jackson is one of the most important targets remaining on the board for the Gators as Florida really likes Jackson’s game. Alabama, Florida State, and Georgia are all in the mix and Jackson plans to let his recruitment play out.

Defensive lineman Joseph Mbatchou plans to make the trip down from Grayson, Georgia on Saturday for his first visit. Mbatchou is a guy that’s rising up some boards as he just moved to the US recently.

Georgia Tech defensive line commit Derry Norris plans to be in Gainesville for the first time this weekend. Norris has an offer from Florida but he committed to Georgia Tech before visiting UF.

East Mississippi JUCO defensive line teammates Rashod Bradley and Zavion Hardy are both expected to visit Florida this weekend. Hardy is one of the top JUCO prospects in the country and someone the Gators have recruited for over two years now. Bradley is someone the Gators are evaluating and hope to get a closer look at him this weekend.

2026 targets to visit

While this event is big for the Class of 2025, it’s also a good chance to get a head start in the 2026 class. Florida will host several 2026 prospects this weekend on campus. The following guys are expected in town.

2026 offensive lineman Chancellor Campbell

2026 offensive lineman Parker Pritchett

2026 offensive lineman Samuel Roseborough

2026 tight end JC Anderson

2026 tight end Camden Jensen

2026 tight end Landon Miree

2026 defensive lineman Kendall Guervil

2026 defensive lineman James Johnson

2026 Syracuse defensive back commit Demetres Samuel Jr.

2026 defensive back Jorden Edmonds

2026 defensive back J’Zavien Currence

Commits coming to town

Joining the targets this weekend will be several of Florida’s current commits as they will help recruit these guys.

Running back commits Waltez Clark and Chad Gasper are both solid with the Gators and plan to be in town.

Tight end commit Tae’Shaun Gelsey committed in June and he plans to be back on campus for the first time since making that decision.

Receiver commit Vernell Trey Brown plans to be on campus and he has been a big recruiter for the Gators.

Defensive line commit Jeramiah McCloud will be in Tallahassee on Friday but in Gainesville on Saturday and this visit is key as the Gators try and shut down his recruitment.

Defensive line commit Jalen Wiggins recently shut down his recruitment and he plans to be in town.

Linebacker commit Myles Johnson will make the trip over from Alabama on Saturday as he just recently committed to Florida.

2026 defensive back commit Jaelen Waters is the lone 2026 commit and he will be in town on Saturday.
