It’s that time of the year again where the Friday Night Lights are bright and prospects across the country are starting the high school football season.
Like the past years Gator Country is going to do a preview every Thursday for all of the Florida Gators commits and on Monday we will do a full recap including stats and notes from the past weeks’ games.
This year we are going to also highlight the key players to watch in the game that aren’t Florida Gators commits but rather targets or just big names in the game.
Also, we will give you a few games that involve Florida Gators targets from the Class of 2022 to watch as well.
Week 10 preview
2022 commits
Receiver Isaiah Bond (5-10, 175, Buford, GA. Buford)
Matchup: Buford (7-1) travels to take on Winder-Barrow on Friday night.
Yearly Stats: Bond has 15 catches for 462 yards and 4 touchdowns this year. Bond also returned a kick for a touchdown.
Notes: Buford has been dominant this year.
Athlete Jamarrien Burt (6-1, 175, Ocala, FL. Forest)
Matchup: Forest (3-5) travels to take on Buchholz on Friday night.
Yearly Stats: Burt has a touchdown catch on the year.
Notes: Forest travels to take on the 7-1 Buchholz team.
Offensive lineman David Conner (6-6, 270, Deerfield Beach, FL. High)
Matchup: Deerfield Beach (6-2) travels to take on Boca Raton on Friday.

Quarterback Nick Evers (6-3, 188, Flower Mound, TX. High)
Matchup: Flower Mound (3-5) travels to take on Plano on Friday.
Yearly Stats: Evers is 126 of 232 for 1838 yards passing this year with 13 touchdowns. Evers has also added 441 yards rushing and nine touchdowns.
Notes: Evers and Flower Mound are looking to make a run to get into the playoffs.

Receiver Raymond Cottrell (6-2, 203, Milton, FL. High)
Matchup: Milton (3-5) will travel to take on Pace on Friday.
Yearly Stats: Cottrell has 42 catches for 664 yards and five touchdowns on the year. Cottrell also has four rushing touchdowns on the year.
Notes: Cottrell has two touchdowns that went for over 70 yards.
Defensive back Aaron Gates (6-0, 180, Sharsburg, GA. Trinity)
Matchup: Trinity Christian (8-0) travels to take on Heritage on Friday..
Yearly Stats: Gates has 30 catches for 470 yards and six touchdowns on the year. Gates also has seven tackles this season.
Notes: Trinity Christian continues to roll this year.
Receiver Darren Lawrence (6–2, 190, Seminole, FL. Sanford)
Matchup: Sanford (8-1) travels to take on DeLand on Friday.
Yearly Stats: Lawrence has 8 carries for 20 yards and three touchdowns, 11 catches for 196 yards and two touchdown catches this year.
Notes: Sanford rebounded from its first loss with a win.
