On Friday, the Florida Gators hosted several prospects that will not be able to attend Junior Day on Saturday so they had their own small campus visit on Friday.
2021 receiver Bralon Brown (6-2, 190, Hollywood, FL. Chaminade-Madonna Prep) was one of those guys on campus on Friday.
“It was good, it was amazing,” Brown said of his visit to Florida on Saturday. “They just showed me around campus, showed us the locker room and we had a little meeting with Coach [Billy] Gonzales, we watched a little bit of film and then got the college experience and took some pictures.”
This was the first visit to Gainesville for Brown and he enjoyed taking in the visit with his friends and teammates.
“Really all of it just being here and building relationships with the coaches,” he said on what stood out to him during the visit. “Finally able to get on campus and talk to everyone and being here with my boys taking pictures. It was just all amazing.”
While on campus Brown had the chance to watch film with receivers coach Billy Gonzales and the receiver likes how the veteran coach treats his players.
“It was kind of like not new but it was getting the college experience,” Brown said of watching film with Gonzales. “He’s a cool guy, he’s energetic, he’s going to talk to you and be professional but he’s going to talk to you like he’s our age and have fun with you.”
Heading into the visit Brown didn’t have an offer from the Gators but the topic came up and the receiver is just waiting on the news as Florida is a school he likes a lot.
“I believe it’s going to come but I’m just waiting patiently,” he said on a Florida offer. “I grew up a Florida fan, Florida is a school I grew up watching play and one of my top schools.”
