Zachary Evans, TCU, Running Back
Better than being at A&M, UT, Ole Miss, LSU, or UGA. Well for us anyway lol
Evans released from his LOI from uga
Good for him, but he may as well have stayed home with the Houston Cougars. TCU and Houston is 6 of one is a half dozen of the other regardless of TCU's Big 12/P5 status. I guess we can now call him the TCU Rocket. (chuckle)
Gary Patterson will do him good. Pretty sure he sold him on what he did for LT back in the day
Edit: he didnt coach LT
At least we can stop talking about this guy now.
Soooo he is not going to visit?
Just pictured Lloyd in Dumb and Dumber.....”so your telling me there’s a chance. Yeah!”
It is on the down low. A secret date.
Awesome! He can be their headache.
Thanks for the info, @jpullen.
Wouldn't hurt to edit title to tell us who he committed to. No offense - but as an example - Bobby's thread title does this nicely:
2021 OT Adrein Strickland commits to Florida
Again - not trying to criticize - just inform.
Lmaoooooooo after all that....
Him and Bowman!!
Does say TCU
Oh yeah I forgot Bowman. And the kid who chose Bama and was going to win the Heisman last year but unfortunately got hurt. He is all fixed up and ready to enroll and report the morning fall camp begins. Just don't let it leak it could put a fly in the ointment.
All kidding aside, I think we will start keeping a good number of the super elite Florida kids soon as Mullen slowly builds. Mullen has us on a steady climb, not going vertical with afterburners like Meyer. And hopefully that means we won't flame out overnight like we did under Meyer.
But in the interim, it helps to have some levity and make fun of ourselves about recruiting... ...better than wallowing in our own sorrow.
I know it sucks to lose out on obvious talent, but I fear with all the negative Zach Evans talk we are seriously sleeping on Wright. Dude is going to be a beast next year, maybe this year if he gets the opportunities
Long as we can get that push up thupe middle for the dive play, he will eventually break one. I'm actually more interested in seeing how Malik Davis is following a full year to recover. Pre injury he reminded me a bit of Jamaal Charles
If only Adarius Lemons had of kept his head down and worked hard..he could have been inline to possibly start this season
ehh, what did lemons bring to the table that Davis can’t do? Health maybe? I think we will be fine....especially if Lingard doesn’t get a waiver this year. We just HAVE to get a solid talent this year, then MUST hit on a beast next years cycle.
personally, I wanted EJ Smith much more than Evans just because I think EJ would shine in Mullen’s system due to his versatility
Lemons brought extra depth and talent is where i was getting at. He just got a head of himself
